The Southern Region is hosting an Advisory Day for the Licentiate level (LRPS) and Visual Art (ARPS) on 12th December 2021

Attending this Advisory day will give you the opportunity to discuss your images and get advice in a professional but friendly atmosphere.

This web page is for RPS Members and Non-Members attending for LRPS advice.

What is an Advisory Day?

Members and non-members can get advice on their body of work before applying for the Distinction or attend as a spectator to learn about the Distinctions process and see an example of a successful panel for Licentiate and ARPS Visual Art

Getting advice on your images

Please bring a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 15 images for advice for the Licentiate

Only panels which have been pre-booked will be given advice.

How much does it cost?

RPS members who would like advice £20

Non-RPS members who would like advice £25

Access

There is an accessible parking space near the main entrance and also a ramp leading to the main entrance. The hall has accessible toilet facilities.

COVID 19

We recommend that you have a mask and hand sanitiser with you. Unfortunately, due to the current situation we are unable to provide refreshments.

Cancellation policy

Please inform The Society as early as possible if you have to cancel your attendance at the event, distinction advisory day or assessment, or workshop.

Generally speaking, we do not give refunds for events costing £5.00 or less. For events costing more than that, we are unable to refund your payment or transfer you to another event less than fourteen days beforehand. However, if we can resell your ticket we will refund the cost in full.

In the unlikely event of The Society having to cancel an event we will normally give you at least one week’s notice and your ticket cost will be refunded in full. The Society will not refund your travel or accommodation costs and you are advised to check your hotel and travel cancellation policy.
