David Rutter FRPS will be demonstrating his approach to photography with a range of images and explaining his thought process which led him to the creation of his successful Fellowship panel in the Visual Art category. This will culminate with an in-depth review of his panel of images and how they were created.
BIO-NOTE: Based near Lambourn in West Berkshire, David recently renewed his photographic passion and threw himself headlong into the camera club world but whilst that brought him up to speed with current trends and practices he soon grew tired of club competitions and politics. Along the way, he gained his Licentiateship in 2017, and in 2019 (after his third attempt) he attained Associateship level. Pulling back completely from club activities in late 2020 to concentrate solely on attaining the ultimate distinction with the Royal Photographic Society, his successful 'Abstract Simplicity' panel earned him Fellowship status in March 2021. However, moving on from this milestone in his career, he now continues to pursue improved ability frame-by-frame every day - not only for his own satisfaction but to help others along their photographic path too.
