Jane Rees ARPS, will share with us a spectacular adventure on a sailing ship where she visited the Galapagos islands and benefited from numerous opportunities to photograph its fauna and flora, much of which is not seen anywhere else in the world. She is a member and past president of the Bath Photographic Society; belongs to the RPS Nature Group and gained her ARPS in Natural History. She is also a member of the Nature Photographers Portfolio. You can visit Jane’s webs site www.reestools.co.uk
Jane is an accomplished and recognised wildlife photographer and with her ease of manner and wealth of knowledge she will describe many close encounters with amazing birds, reptiles and mammals as well as close-up views of many of the marine creatures. Her visit to what is universally agreed as one of the natural world’s most special places was during the breeding season for some of the birds and mammals, so you will experience the added bonus of seeing courting behaviour, nesting birds and youngsters through amazing photos and tales.
