Our June event, "Working in the Dark", is a joint presentation with the Creative Eye Special Interest Group
East Anglian photographer Mike Kwasniak has worked with professional theatres, youth theatres and amateur theatre companies since 1984.
At that time he was a member of the marketing team at the Wolsey Theatre in Ipswich, but in 1989 left the office to set up his own business as a full time photographer. After 21 years specialising in wedding and theatre photography, he completed his final wedding, relaxed, and turned his attention solely to theatre.
In his presentation Mike will share some of his images, along with a little bit of theatre history, an illustration of the challenges, a few anecdotes, a bit of gossip, a horror story or two, a peek inside his camera bag, and an explanation of his nail-biting path to becoming an ARPS.
The committee has decided to continue offering online events free both to members and to non-members for the time being. Members will be given priority for online bookings.
