Photography Forum - Advice
Event info
We are pleased to be running online photo forums, these are not Advisory Days but informal meetings with constructive feedback on portfolios of work, informed by panel members.
We will be using ZOOM for these meetings/events.
A limited number of applicants can book online to have feedback on a number of fixed images. These do not have to be panel specific but should have a connecting theme, which the photographer should provide a few words about.
Feedback will be given, but also others present will be given the opportunity to ask questions or make comments.
There will be a reasonable time limit for each showing work to be able to move through all work being shown on the day.
Images
Those showing work send images and a few words about the theme of the work via a drop box link which will be provided in advance to applicants. The images will be forwarded on to a panel member as available prior to the event for comment.
Images to be JPEG sRGB 1400px wide or 1050px high and less than 2Mb.
On the day, images will be shared on screen so that everyone can see what is being discussed.
Everyone will be on mute, except the speaker during the initial discussion. Questions will be invited and can be sent through the ‘chat’ box on ZOOM in advance, then people will be invited to speak to avoid chaos.

Notice of Cancelation
The Society is unable to refund any cancellation or offer a transfer to another event if the attendee does not notify the Organisers’ by e-mail 14 days prior to the event start date. The Society reserves the right to cancel any event 7 days prior to its start date, or less than 24 hours due to adverse or extraordinary circumstances beyond its control.
