The 2022/23 Analogue Group Members Exhibition will move to the award-winning exhibition space The Heseltine Gallery in Middleton Cheney. The exhibition will run from January 11th to February 5th 2023.
The Heseltine Gallery is attached to Chenderit School in the village and was gifted to the school by Lord and Lady Heseltine. Although compact, it has hosted many fine exhibitions including Mattise (on loan from the Hayward Gallery) last month, and The Northampton Open Photography Exhibition every other year. It is also a venue for the RPS Visual Arts Group Annually.
Being attached to the school the exhibits are used as a teaching aid and our exhibition is particularly helpful to the 6th form photography students - the school has an active Analogue programme and a fully functioning Darkroom which is well used.
Visiting the exhibition by car is convenient as parking is free. There is an excellent cafe just around the corner and a good pub in the village(the New Inn) that serves food. Access by rail will be via Banbury Station and a regular bus service to Middleton Cheney.
An Open Sunday event is taking place on 15th January - including wine and nibbles during the exhibition - a good opportunity for as many of us as possible to get along and meet up, details to follow.
We are pleased to confirm that we have secured this venue for 2024 as well.
