What they are saying about us ...
From SE Region member Nicola Bolton ARPS:
"I’ve just read your latest newsletter and looked at everything on your site. I’m really impressed with the calibre of everything and the obvious quality and professionalism that you and your team put into running the group, and producing the newsletters. I thought the story behind the Trapped image particularly inspiring. I also like the idea of your season tickets too. Great idea. Thanks very much for what you’re doing."
It won't come as a surprise that all of our socially-gathered events are on hold until the Covid-19 situation changes. We need to wait for large events to again be lawful and safe, and for our regular members to have the confidence to return in sufficient numbers to make our events financially viable.
In the meantime, there are many DI Group events (mostly online) which we would urge you to explore. Most of the online events organised by the DI Group are free for DI Group members.
Your Thames Valley Centre has decided not to stage its own online events. Our remit is to cater for a specific geographical region, whereas online events are not geographically constrained (indeed the DI Group has already staged live online events from speakers across the Atlantic!).
Rest assured we will endeavour to fulfil our remit once again, just as soon as it is possible to do so. We have written to our Season Ticket holders (October 2020) to explain about the unfulfilled 2020 programme, and the ongoing difficulties for 2021. We are pleased to say that over 98% of our Season Ticket holders agree with our policy and have remained loyal - so a big 'thank you' to them.
