The Vickers VC10

The Vickers VC10 aircraft, image produced for my commissioned book, '100 Years of Brooklands Museum' The VC10 had a distinctive design with its winged tailplane and I wanted to show this as dramatically as I could. I included its four powerful engines and waited for the perfect cloud covered sky to complete the image. The first VC10 was built at Brooklands and first flown in 1962. This original VC10 was first flown from Brooklands in October 1964, the largest all-British airliner ever built.
