A portrait of sorts. My mother-in-law died late August 2019. The flowers are from her funeral bouquet. The glass symbolises her body reflecting life and light. The coral represents her sometime abrasive nature. This image opened up the possibility of portraying people without their face or body, rather how the photographer saw or sees their presence in objects related or not related to them. Leica M9 Monochrom, Leitz 50mm f/2 lens.
