Taking the ethos of Russian avant-garde painter Kazimir Malevich's ground breaking Suprematist work I developed a pure version within photography, in the Dynamic Suprematism style. Images are derived from the visual geometry within a single photographic image and this non-objective approach leaves only the essence of the original image.
The final images are very abstract, highly geometric, closer to painted/printed art than photography and takes photography close to what Malevich termed “zero degree”.
Photography, now at it’s purest and most creative; light, colour, shape and the viewer. This offers new creative possibilities to produce extremely original images.

More conventional personal work includes Street, Social Documentary, Architecture & Abstract Expressionism.
I also provide training & workshops with my company, The Light Academy.
