Giles Penfound ARPS

I'm a full time documentary photographer making photo stories about the people, culture and environment of my home town of Newbury in Berkshire. I have spent the last thirty years working as a professional photographer, 17 of which was as a British Army combat photographer documenting conflicts from Northern Ireland and the Balkans to Iraq. When I left the Army in 2007 I established a commercial photographic business working with a varirty of cleints as well as making personal photo stories in Europe, India and the Far East.
I recently retired from all commercial work to concentrate on my passion for finding and making photo stories about my home.
