Rajen Nandwana is a Mumbai-based businessman and a passionate photographer and educationalist. His photographic journey began in 2007 as a self-taught enthusiast, driven by a profound love for capturing moments that tell compelling stories. He serves the Royal Photographic Society in two roles. Firstly as chair of the RPS India Chapter, where he supports local members, furthers the art of photography and promotes talent from the subcontinent on an international platform. Secondly as a founder member of the newly established RPS Nominations Committee, he contributes to the assessment and selection of Council members.
As a leader in the Indian photographic community, Nandwana founded ‘The Circle of Confusion’, a photographic forum in Mumbai, nurturing a space for artists and enthusiasts to connect, learn, and grow together. His personal photographic expertise is founded on meticulous attention to technical detail and masterful use of available light, resulting in images that evoke emotions and resonate with viewers; his commitment to pushing the boundaries of digital printing is recognised by him being certified as a Digigraphie Artist by Digigraphie® Epson.
Nandwana ‘s creative endeavours have earned him global recognition His work has been published in international publications including the RPS Landscape magazine. He has exhibited globally including the Zingst Foto festival in Germany and the Epson Gallery at Photokina, The RPS 151st International Print Exhibition, The Photographic Society of India's annual show and the National Centre Performing Arts top 50 artists’ show, winning awards in Australia and the US
