Places are limited in these classes and they always fill up quickly. If you are interested in a workshop that is already fully booked, please email the event organiser so they can let you know if/when it is going to be run again.

International Photography Exhibition 162

On tour until January 2021

The 162nd edition of the International Photography Exhibition features work from 43 international photographers. Selected from a worldwide open call by some of the most influential people in photography today, this year’s exhibition is enthused with storytelling, reflecting the concerns of the modern world. Spirituality, family, identity, and inclusion are some of the powerful narratives explored.

Taking inspiration from Pictorialism, this new exhibition celebrates the work of artists Takashi Arai, Susan Derges, David George, Joy Gregory, Tom Hunter, Ian Phillips McLaren, Celine Bodin and Spencer Rowell, who each bring a pictorialist approach, through aesthetics or process to their contemporary work, addressing important issues and encouraging the beauty of the photographic image.

International Photography Exhibition 163

Open for submissions in October 2020

The RPS International Photography Exhibition celebrates photography from across the globe. Each year the touring exhibition is selected from a worldwide open-call, encouraging submissions from international photographers of all levels. Alongside the opportunity to exhibit, £4,000 is awarded to support future photographic projects.

Whether you wish to learn new skills or improve old ones the HQ workshops offer a wide range of course covering all areas of image making from photo taking and editing, to the experimental and creative.

We also offer professional courses to help those going into commercial photography.

Featured: Street Photography

This workshop is ideal if you want to explore street photography in any form, get inspired, learn appropriate techniques and spend time in London shooting and practicing these new skills. We will focus on Spitalfields Market and Brick Lane.

Featured: Macro Photography

On this one day course, you will learn how to use your camera and lens to produce stunning images. We will have a simple table-top lighting area available. You will also understand how lighting (natural and artificial) plus good composition and pin-point focusing can transform your shots.
