Welcome to the Australian Chapter
Australia is huge and diverse, providing limitless opportunities for photography. RPS members in Australia are scattered all across our huge continent and come together and keep in touch through our online meetings and monthly Newsletter.
From time to time we also have in-person visits to galleries and exhibitions.
Are you an RPS member? If you are and you live in Australia, you can get in touch with us at australia@rps.org

Discover More
The Royal Photographic Society offers all its members a wide range of events, talks, workshops, courses and exhibitions. Many of these are streamed online, letting you join in, in real time. And most are also recorded. This lets members view them later – at a time to that suits you, no matter what time zone you are in. Visit the RPS website www.rps.org for more details.
Australian members can also join our Australian Chapter online meetings. These are usually presentations by members or guest speakers giving illustrated talks about their photography and their photographic enthusiasms. These meetings give us all the chance to make ‘virtual’ contact with each other, even if we can’t meet in person.
Australian members are all invited to contribute articles and images to our monthly Newsletter and it’s a great way of keeping in touch with each other and sharing our photographic enthusiasms. You can find selected articles from past Newsletters in the Articles of Interest section of this website.
