How to Recover your Photography Mojo – Creativity Live 11

Event info

NEW.

Feel like you’ve lost your way with your photography?

Coming home disappointed, shooting the same thing all the time, running out of ideas, getting harsh feedback?

In this 2 hour workshop, we’ll show you how to recover your photographic mojo, and find yourself brimming with great ideas, shooting images that make you smile, plus try out some new techniques that will unlock your creative self (and where to find constructive feedback).

This workshop is for you if:

  • You’ve lost a bit of motivation, and need some help getting it back.

What will you learn?

  • Discuss those things that lead us to lose motivation - and what to do about them.
  • How to plan your shoots correctly so you don’t come home disappointed.
  • How to (confidently) break the rules - so your work stands out from the pack.
  • Insight on how professionals keep coming up with great ideas - so you can too.
  • Setting mini projects to push your creative boundaries, get your work back on track, and get constructive feedback that grows your skills.

The details

  • A live online workshop, by Zoom, over 2 hours from 6.30 – 8.30pm (London)
  • Consisting of 4 signposted stages, with lots of visual examples (so we show not tell), guided voting (to confirm your understanding), live demonstrations plus ongoing support post-workshop, so you can try the techniques for yourself.
  • You won’t need your camera, just a cup of tea, a pad and pen.
  • You will be sent a PDF guide after the workshop finishes, which contains valuable information on how to get your mojo back.

What is Creativity Live?

Creativity Live is a series of workshops designed for those without a formal education in photography. Heavily visual, with plenty of examples, we take a show-not-tell approach to teaching, guiding you step-by-step through the more creative elements of photography; so you understand how to make your work stand out, see behind the scenes how the best images are made, and build your confidence - and ability - to take your photography forwards.
