Practical Introduction to AstroPhotography – Lilian Hobbs

This workshop introduces you to AstroPhotography using your Digital camera and will show you how to photograph:

• Star Trails & Process the Image
• Use of a Star Tracker to prevent star trails
• Stars, Constellations and Bright Galaxies and Nebula
• Planning a Milky Way Shot and Processing the Images
• Planning and photographing the aurora
• Photographing the Moon 

This workshop will use a digital camera and both wide and zoom lenses. Introduce you to star trackers which can make night sky photograph easier and the use of Photoshop or Lightroom to process your images. 

What to bring: Digital Camera with wide and zoom lens

Please bring a packed lunch or use local amenities.

Bristol Temple Meads is a 30-minute walk to Paintworks.

Buses running from Bristol Temple Meads to Paintworks are: 1, 178, 349 or the X39, but please check before leaving.

You can also park all-day for £5 at Arnos Manor.  Visitors will need to go to the hotel reception to purchase a ticket to display on their windscreen.
