Long Exposure Photography - Brighton
Event info
Maximum 8 participants.
Dream-like long exposures made easy on a wonderful day in Brighton with Nigel Wilson. With the use of neutral density filters, it is possible to take very long exposures even in bright conditions.
The first hour of this workshop will be conducted online via Zoom the evening before the workshop - 11th September.
- As we are doing the Zoom meeting the night before, we don't need to meet until 11am.
- The Meeting point has been changed to the entrance to Brighton Pier. (The public toilets are open on the seafront in Brighton.)
This one day coastal workshop in Brighton will explain the exact techniques required to create stunning ethereal images unlike many others.
What to bring: Camera, lenses + ND filter(s). The tutor will have some spares, though please let us know if you need to borrow one. Bring a packed lunch or use local facilities.
The Tutor: Nigel Wilson is a very experienced teacher, leading inspirational classes at many institutions, including New York University, Photofusion and London's famous Camera Club.
He is also currently lecturing at the Victoria & Albert Museum, as well as running workshops for the RPS.
