Event info
Stanwick Lakes is known for its wild birds, particularly for waterfowl but a huge variety of birds are regularly spotted. There are several hides and a feeding station. Muntjac deer are regular visitors to the feeding area
Over 15 lakes, ponds and marginal habitat provide perfect areas for waterbirds, particularly those lakes with an open nature and emerging islands.
Several pairs of Great Crested Grebes breed here and we might see some early pairing.
