Tonight our keynote speaker will be Becky Mursell. An active member of London Region, particularly the SW London Group, in the past, we recently caught up with Becky, now a professional photographer.

Becky has agreed to give us a presentation tonight, when she will be sharing some images from two personal projects she has been working on over the past six months. 

'Second helpings and trips to the seaside' is an intimate portrayal of her visits to see her Grandma in Somerset. The work reflects aspects of her Grandma's daily life,  various trips to nearby coastline that they would take together and archival images from her Grandma's photo albums. 

The other project, 'Corona with Gratitude', is a response to the recent global pandemic. In this work Becky will be discussing how she used photography as a tool to not only help raise awareness of the importance of mental wellbeing but how she also used it to provide those involved with a practical activity where they could be reminded about the small and important things that are often overlooked in our daily lives."
