London:Street October 2020 Photowalk Vauxhall to Sloane Sq.

Overview

Today our walk will take us from Vauxhall Station to Sloane Square along the Embankment to Battersea Power Station Development and Battersea Park, then across the river to finish in Chelsea.

This is a very straightforward walk which we have done before in various ways, but there are usually good "people shots" to be had and it is good to see the Battersea Power Station Development coming to maturity. I am exploring a detour - and I'll let you know if I am successful!

Meeting Point

We will leave from outside Pret A Manger on the corner of Vauxhall Bridge Road opposite the Station in appropriate groups of 6 - the first at 10:30, the second at 10:45 .... Some reminders below about precautions to be taken.

Sign up for the event by following the link to Eventbrite above.    There will be a maximum of eight photographers and two volunteer leaders.

Special Information:

The walk volunteer leaders will be following safe practices in line with social distancing guidance and will require participants to do the same. 

In addition to the usual reminders about wearing sensible shoes and being prepared for the weather (be it hot or cold, wet or dry!), don't forget to bring a drink to keep you hydrated.  Please make yourself aware of Government regulations current at the time, in particular remember face coverings (for public transport and any time spent in shops, stores or enclosed spaces) and hand sanitisers.  Also most retailers are no longer accepting cash, so make sure you have a contactless payment card with you.

Should government advice change and local lockdowns occur, for example, causing us to cancel the event, we will contact you as soon as we can.  However, please keep alert for any potential changes and contact us if you have doubts as to whether the walk will run as planned, or not.
