London Region Photowalk - A Walk in a Day

Following our successful virtual walk in August, we are holding a second event.

Record your walk over just one September day and submit just five images to Zoom with us on 3^rd October.

A Walk in a Day

Take pictures over just one day in September to record your walk, then edit your photographs and submit just five to share with us on the afternoon of 3^rd October in an online meeting.

Registration is Essential in order to receive the further information you will need in order to take part i.e. Dropbox and Zoom links.

What images are acceptable

• Images can be of a documentary type: a story of your walk or the place you are visiting, in which case your submission will include, for example, an establishing shot, details, and a closing image

Or

• Images can be from a selection of a particular type of photography or technique which you are practicing or specialising in, for example: double-exposure, macro-images etc. 

• They can be of any genre, so you can showcase your skills in urban, street, landscape, nature – well, anything you like really!

Other Information

• Your images must be taken on just one day between 1^st and 30^th September

• After registering you will be sent a Dropbox link and your five images must be uploaded by midnight on 1st October.

The Virtual Walk photo sharing will take place on 3^rd October from 2.00pm to 4.00pm via Zoom

This event will be restricted to a maximum of 20 photographers, although guest observers will be allowed to come along on the walk!

On the day itself, each photographer will have five minutes to present their five images and tell their story. 

There will be a five minute introduction to the Virtual Walk at the beginning, a short break in the middle and time for wrap up and celebration at the end!
