London STREET EXTRA Photowalk: FULLY BOOKED

Event info

SORRY WE ARE FULLY BOOKED BUT PLEASE ADD YOUR NAME TO THE WAITING LIST AS PLACES OFTEN BECOME AVAILABLE AT SHORT NOTICE

Due to popular demand, we are running an extra Street Walk in August.

Our starting point with be at The Yurt Cafe at St Katharine's Precinct, 2 Butcher Row, London E14 8DS, which is very close to Limehouse DLR. The Cafe have kindly set aside a space for all of us to sit and have a coffee on arrival from 10.00am.   To find the cafe, take the western exit from Limehouse DLR Station to Bekesbourne Street, turn right into Radcliffe Lane and then just before the railway bridge you will see a gate into a garden (with yurts) on the left.

Our route is quite short but we think you will find it full of interest. We will zig zag through the area, visit Limehouse Basin and take various detours to "new" places - both along the River and "inland".

For those who wish, we will stop for coffee and a comfort break at Cafe Vesuvio, 3 Colt Street which has lots of outside space. http://vesuvio.letseat.

We will continue our walk towards Canary Wharf taking in some history along the way and entering near the Museum of London. If we are early arriving at Canary Wharf, there is much of interest to photograph.

We will have lunch at Cafe Brera at Cabot Place, where we can have just a coffee, ice cream, a choice of salads, pizza etc - all to take out and eat in the square (weather permitting).

You may want to treat yourself at the end of the walk by a trip on the Thames Clipper!

DO COME ALONG AND HAVE SOME AUGUST FUN!

BOOKING IS ESSENTIALl
