London Naturally walk the Thames Path Richmond to Isleworth

Event info

As is traditional for September the London Naturally group will have a Thames-related walk. This time we will follow the Thames Path from Richmond to Isleworth.

After a short walk from Richmond Station to the river we follow the Thames Path to cross the river at the impressive Richmond Lock, the furthest downstream of the Thames locks. We continue on the opposite side of the river to the ancient settlement of Isleworth. Here there is plenty of birdlife on the foreshore and views across to the inaccessible Isleworth Ait.

We will meet outside Richmond Station at 10:30.

We finish the walk at Isleworth village, where there will be an option for Sunday lunch at the riverside London Apprentice pub. https://www.greeneking-pubs.co.uk/pubs/middlesex/london-apprentice/

After lunch we will retrace out step back to the Thames Path and catch a bus back to Richmond Station.
