DUNROBIN CASTLE , one of Britain’s oldest continuously inhabited houses. It is the family seat of the Earls of Sutherland and has been in their possession for over 7 centuries. It is the largest house in the Northern Highlands. This stunning castle is one of the most picturesque in Europe and captures the idea of ‘fairytale architecture’ perfectly. THE BIG BURN . A delightful and easy walk through a steep gorge on well maintained paths which has 5 bridges that criss cross the burn. It has it's own micro climate and at the head of the gorge the fauna is festooned in lichens and moss. For a full walk description follow this link.

There is an entrance fee to the castle and gardens which is all inclusive. The meeting place will probably be the castle car park (TBC) and the day planned from there. For further details please contact:-
