Guide for who should attend this course: Creatives, artists, photographers who need a range of backgrounds
What will you learn: An introduction to creating your own textures using Photoshop filters and patterns. We will look at basic blending modes, art filters to create textured effects, parchment papers. And when you have an image with a great set of colours I'll show you how to extract all the colours with a Colour Index Table and save them to a Swatches Panel. What are Layer Blend Modes? This workshop will go through them all with a brief overview of each one, how to use, where to use it and how they are ofte used for combining images and textures. We will analyse and combine images with different colours, different textures and evaluate which combinations work best in different situations. Continue your journey with Layer Styles and Effects looking at some of the more advanced features for working with Blend If where a basic knowledge of channels would be useful, how to apply advanced blending modes and understand Knockout options.

It is inevitable, that occasionally an event will be postponed or cancelled for this or another reason beyond the RPS’s control. If an event is postponed we will transfer your booking to the rearranged event, with the option of a refund if the rescheduled date is not suitable for you. Occasionally an event may also be cancelled owing to lack of bookings.Let's do something more with Composites
If an event is cancelled we will give you as much notice as we are able and any payment by you to the RPS in respect of the event offered as a full refund. In the case of events cancelled because of lack of interest we will aim to give you as much notice as possible.
However for the ByteSize events and because of the low cost, if you have paid for an event, the fee/ticket price is non-refundable.
