Linda: “My goal is to use my camera frame as a means by which to pull the viewer out of a logical and recognisable world into a space which feels more alive and joyful. I am drawn to shapes, colour and rhythm while I strive to connect with the chaos that surrounds us. My work varies from representational to abstract, and I move between the two continually. Every image I produce is part of my journey to find my creative voice, each has its place and its own story to tell.”

Abstract with a bit of Landscape:
This presentation charts Linda’s photographic journey through time. Content focuses on the different styles of her photography, why each is important and part of the ‘journey’. Starting with her early Landscape work she then moved fully into the world of abstraction. She looks at how she used these as learning opportunities to produce work of which she is now incredibly proud.

Make Believe – the Story behind the Project:
Linda creates multiple variations working with a single underlying image. The lecture describes how Linda approaches and creates these images. The starting point is the concept followed by image selection. She looks at words in support of the image titling and panelling. She uses images from her ‘Believe’ project for illustrating the extraordinary.

An opportunity to experience the creation of extraordinary photographs, as shown above. A very unusual and inspiring event, almost supernatural; not to be missed.
