The Historical Group holds an annual Research Day in collaboration with the University of Wolverhampton.
We aim to encourage new researchers in photographic history to share their ideas in a friendly and supportive environment.
Papers from experienced researchers are welcomed, but half of the time slots are reserved for first time presenters.
The 2025 Research Symposium took place on Friday 28th and Saturday 29th March in Wolverhampton.
A call for papers for the 2026 Symposium is currently being arranged.
