Research Day

The Historical Group holds an annual Research Day in collaboration with Sheffield Hallam University. We aim to encourage new researchers in photographic history to share their ideas in a friendly and supportive environment; papers from experienced researchers are welcomed, but half of the time slots are reserved for first time presenters.

We are welcoming proposals for presentations for the 2021 Research Day, which will be held online on 6 November. If you are interested in presenting, please contact Janine Freeston at by 15 October 2021.

The 2021 Research Day has been postponed until 2022.  Proposals for presentations should still be submitted as above.
