Research Day

The Historical Group holds an annual Research Day in collaboration with Sheffield Hallam University. We aim to encourage new researchers in photographic history to share their ideas in a friendly and supportive environment; papers from experienced researchers are welcomed, but half of the time slots are reserved for first time presenters.

The postponed 2021 Research Day will take place as a Zoom event at 10:30am on Saturday 2 April 2022.

The day will present a series of papers of research in progress from photo-historians, lecturers and students and others.

The event is free to all, however, if you are intending to attend, you will need to register via the Event page. That page also includes the list of speakers and the programme.

You can read about the 2019 Research day on the Culture & Creativity Research Institute at Sheffield Hallam University blog
