The Historical Group holds an annual Research Day in collaboration with Sheffield Hallam University.
We aim to encourage new researchers in photographic history to share their ideas in a friendly and supportive environment. Papers from experienced researchers are welcomed, but half of the time slots are reserved for first time presenters.
The 2023 Research Day took place on Saturday 20 May in Sheffield.
The day presented a series of papers of research in progress from photo-historians, lecturers and students and others.
