Over the past 2 years, mentors from the London region of the Royal Photographic Society in conjunction with Café Art have been helping a group of photographers affected by homelessness.
Running the group online during lockdowns and in person at all other times, mentors have been improving participants photographic skills and confidence.
For the last 3 years RPS London member Julian Rouse has been running the group:
"The benefits gained through this group to mentors and participants alike is very evident and whilst the project is very much ongoing with new members and events arranged for 2022, this exhibition is to showcase some of their work from this difficult period.”
This exhibition, titled 'My Work', showcases 12 of the photographers work, with each photographer displaying a set of 4 photographs taken during this period.
The exhibition will be open in January 2022 at Brixton Library. Full details and address below. See a flyer for the event here.
