The Photography Show 2022

Five reasons why The Photography Show is a must-visit this September

The Photography Show & The Video Show, the must-attend live event for photographers, videographers, and content creators of any level, returns to Birmingham’s NEC from 17 – 20 September 2022.

Here are five reasons why a visit to the show should be at the top of any photographer’s agenda.

  1. Big brands, exciting newcomers

Over 250 of the biggest international brands, including Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm and OM-System will be there – with new kit to try, live demos and unmissable offers. Plus, this is your chance to meet the experts behind some of the big-name brands – all under one roof. You’ll find the full rundown here.

  1. Phenomenal Super Stage line-up

Renowned landscape photographer Colin Prior and conservationist and underwater photographer Cristina Mittermeier are among the compelling line-up of global speakers taking to the Super Stage. There’s also Chase Jarvis, Christina Ebenezer, Kaylee Greer, Roberto Valenzuela, Jack Harries. Book in advance to secure your space!

Colin Prior looks ahead to his session: “Having spent the last two decades photographing Pakistan’s Karakoram Mountains, I’m keen to share the importance of working on long term projects, which in my opinion are the only way a photographer can differentiate her or himself from the herd. The dichotomy for photographers today is that depth takes time and time takes money and I’ll discuss ways of surmounting this.”
