This year marked the launch of our 12-week course, Creating Personal Projects, led by Tim Daly and Andy Golding.
Designed for photographers aiming to elevate their practice, the course provides structured guidance and mentor support to help participants develop a unique photographic study. Over twelve weeks, learners complete weekly assignments to shoot, research, and reflect on their progress, complemented by two one-to-one tutorials for tailored feedback and planning.
The results have been outstanding, with projects showcasing a diverse range of subjects and styles. We look forward to sharing highlights in the New Year.
In the meantime, here are some comments from participants about their experience:
"The tutors Tim and Andy could not have been more helpful, often responding to queries and requests for help well outside of ‘normal’ working hours”
"An excellent course with thoughtful teaching and a strong balance between structure and openness. Tim and Andy were both generous and insightful throughout. We were encouraged to support each other and that also worked well”
''The feedback, constructive criticism or remarks, the tutor support are very very important to me as it is the only way I can improve. This course allowed this through Discord and also allowing us to look at the work of others on the platform. That has helped me as a novice and I value the quality of the feedback given to all of us"
