eMagazine – Q2 2026

We are delighted to announce the publication of the RPS Germany Chapter eMagazine – Second Quarter 2026.

Our Top Story, Traces, by Christian Weiß, presents a remarkable documentary project exploring one of Europe's least visible humanitarian realities. Rather than photographing people, Christian focuses on the abandoned belongings left behind after failed attempts to cross Europe's external borders. Through these powerful images, everyday objects become silent witnesses to interrupted journeys, lost hopes, and untold human stories.

The magazine also features Robert Driscoll's photographic exploration of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Völklingen Ironworks, Stefan Löffler's compelling visual essay Look at My Face Carefully, capturing the remarkable stage presence of blues legend Bobby Rush, and Klaus H. Peters' fascinating journey back to the birthplace of modern photography in The Window that Started It All.

As always, our popular Members' Photo Work section showcases the creativity of our Chapter, with ten photographers presenting an inspiring collection spanning landscape, wildlife, architecture, macro, street, and fine-art photography.

This edition reflects what makes the RPS Germany Chapter so special: photographers who are passionate about sharing their work, telling meaningful stories, and inspiring one another.

A heartfelt thank you goes to all photographers and authors who contributed to this issue. Without your creativity, enthusiasm, and commitment, this publication would not be possible.

We hope you enjoy reading this edition and find inspiration for your own photographic journey.
