Earlier this month the Scottish Contemporary & Documentary Groups had a visit to Stirling for the Stirling Photography Festival.
It turned out to be a very wonderful day, with our first stop at Doune Library, where we met the photographer who had the exhibition on there. He was also hosting an artists talk at the Tollbooth by Ron O’Donnell, so he invited us to join him and a bunch of arts/photography students. Ron spoke about beautifully and openly his work and life.
Afterwards we headed to the Barracks to see Jen Charlton’s moving Hidden Community exhibition, before finishing the day at the MacRobert Centre to see Simon Hill’s amazing Govanhill project. We couldn’t have been luckier.
Output from the day is available in a Zine which is available in Issuu or PDF download.
