In this issue we look at 'urbexing' with a fascinating project by Simon Baylis LRPS shot at abandoned RAF bases. Successful distinctions submissions are always of interest and we feature Hazel Mason's outstanding F panel on the Keraniganj shipyards in Bangladesh. Marc Wilson is highly-regarded British documentary photographer who I recently had the opportunity to meet up with over a coffee and talk about his latest book, Remnants, for the 'In Focus' article. Photography books are rightly enjoying great popularity, and 'On the Bookshelf' will review the latest offerings, starting in this issue with The Harbour by Jem Southam.
There are also a number of exciting national and regional initiatives, and details about the Documentary Photography Awards which is now open for submissions. Please check out the Chair’s introduction for more information.
