15 Members spent a day in Scotsdales Garden Centre concentrating on Macro photography, especially Focus Stacking. We were unfortunate that the leader who was to help with the processing of the focus-bracketed images was ill but Jonathan quickly took over, learnt the steps required and showed people how to stack their images in Photoshop. Olympus owners formed their own group and shared their knowledge of in-camera focus-stacking. For future reference, we discovered that the sprung floor is not suitable for long exposures! At lunchtime, we were entertained with Carols by a Brass Band. In the afternoon, some continued with their macro work while others spent time trying multiple exposures in the camera or even photographing the extensive fish collection (header image by Jane Moore).
