A dozen Members of the Nature Group from many parts of the country visited Welney WWT on Saturday. 8 of us arrived a 6 am to witness the Whooper swans waking up and leaving for their feeding grounds. With wind speeds already high as storm Dennis approached and the light very poor quality, we had to adapt how we worked.
