Eleven members ventured into the wilds of North Norfolk to spend a day at RSPB Snettisham on Friday 2 July. The reserve stretches along the coastline from Heacham to Snettisham and is famous for the Wader spectaculars at high tide at dawn or dusk that we photographed last year. This year we primarily concentrated on other birdlife along the beach, in woodland and around the large lakes where there are several hides.
We had some "regulars" come along, some members that hadn't been on a Nature Group trip previously and a new member. Everyone got on very well and the weather was very nice, perhaps even a bit too hot in the afternoon on our way back to the car park. We had positive feedback about the trip, and will publish a gallery of images.Images by Jane Moore, Ann Miles, Barry Bardsall, Ken Rassmussen, Ann Healey, Will Cheung and Duncan Locke
