Natural History Advisory Day

A Greater Spotted Woodpecker in Woodland Setting from Randal Tajer's prospective A panel

Yesterday the Nature Group ran the first Print Advisory Day for Natural History Photography distinctions since before Covid. A total of 10 panels including Associate and Fellowship submissions were advised on by Mick Durham, Chair of the Natural History Photography Distinctions Panel and Ann Miles, a Member of the Panel. Also in the audience were Spectators who had come to learn about the Distinctions in Nature before starting to put together a panel. Grateful thanks to the Members of the Nature Group and Smethwich Photographic Society who helped with the organisation. Special thanks to Duncan Locke, Secretary of the Nature group, who was the host for the day and made sure all the arrangements ran smoothly.

We hope to run an on-line Advisory session early in 2023 followed by another print event at the beginning of September.
