Why do you do a Distinction?
I decided to submit for assessment for the LRPS distinction simply to see how I fared. I had done well in club competition and decided to broaden that to a national standard. The one-to-one was extremely helpful and a few changes were made, and then after a tense few months I was awarded LRPS. The scores per category were shared with me and I did very well indeed, losing marks on the overall panel composition (which came as no surprise!) The experience has certainly motivated me to work towards an A-panel.
