Print Wall 1

Associate Presentation Layouts

Print Format

For Consideration

When planning a Presentation Layout for a Print Format submission, there are a few important elements that should be taken into consideration.

Print Wall Length

1. The maximum length of the display rails in the auditorium is 21ft (6.4m).

2. There are a maximum of three display rails which can be used to present your submission.

3. The maximum height between the rails is 23" (585mm)
If you are considering submitting images greater than the height between display rails, you must contact the Distinctions department before submitting your portfolio.

4. Distance between the display wall and the first row of seats, where the panel members sit, is 12.5ft (3.8m)

5. The example images above show the wall with 500 x 400mm boards in place to help provide a sense of scale.

6. The LED lighting in the auditorium for print assessments has an average exposure value (EV) of 7.8 @100 ISO

Presentation Layout Templates

Please read before using the templates

These are editable PDF documents. They are compatible with both Mac & PC; we recommend ensuring that you have the most up-to-date version of Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader installed on your computer (Adobe Reader is free to install and use).

Please ensure you download your chosen template to your computer as you're are unable to use them within your web browser.

1) Before adding your images to the PDF, first collate your final selection of images and save thumbnails of each (we advise using small file sizes were possible, for example 1400 x 1050, 72ppi, .jpg).

2) Open the PDF and add your thumbnails to it by clicking on the picture boxes above each number.

3) When you are happy with your portfolio and have filled in all the required information on the page, either “Save As” or “Print” your completed Presentation layout.

Please Note: These PDFs are not compatible with mobile or tablet devices.

We welcome use of your own presentation layout. Use of these templates is not mandatory.

If you'd like to use your own layout design, we request that you create your own presentation layout with thumbnails of your images so we are aware of how you'd like your photographs displayed for assessment. Please do not print the presentation layouts in greyscale as these images need to be a true representation of the work submitted.
