Astronomy has always held a fascination for me and astrophotography has allowed me to combine my love for photography and astronomy.
My images aim to capture the awe-inspiring hidden beauty of the universe. Specialist filters are used to reveal the intricate details and vibrant colours of normally invisible distant stars, galaxies and nebulae. Many of these objects are considerably larger than a full moon and light emitted from some of these objects
has travelled many thousands of years to reach us.
My intent is to inspire and educate those unfamiliar with the night sky by using my images through illustrated talks at local schools, photographic societies and show what can be achieved from the back garden.
