This panel of photographs explores the connection between land and sea through a
minimalistic approach, using long exposure to capture the ever-moving water and sky
against the stillness of a solitary object—either a natural rock formation or a man-made
structure.
The sea is in constant motion, while the object remains steadfast. This contrast is at the
heart of my work.
Through this series, I aim to convey my deep respect and love for the sea—its beauty,
power, and endless movement. The objects within the water serve as points of
connection, grounding us in a scene that is otherwise in constant flux. Whether natural or
man-made, they stand as quiet witnesses to the ocean’s rhythm, embodying a sense of
resilience and permanence.
By embracing minimalism, I strip away distractions, allowing the viewer to immerse
themselves in the relationship between sea, sky, and structure.
