The Washing Line Project
The Washing Line Project takes food as is subject but displays the differing items in a way remote from the usual glossy magazine depiction of food. Drawing on elements from old masters paintings the images display an intentional whimsey and humour. There are some that could be interpreted as raising questions of abundance, social distancing, loneliness, but overall it is general silliness with a quintessential staple of the British garden; the washing line.
