On 30 August 2025, twelve photographers from the Royal Photographic Society Central Region set out to capture the people who make the Bull Ring Markets such a vibrant part of Birmingham—the traders, the shoppers, the everyday characters whose faces tell the story of this iconic place. Their portraits reveal the diversity, texture, and rhythm of Birmingham life.

From this collective effort, twenty-four evocative images were selected for an exhibition displayed at the heart of the Bull Ring covered market - 11th - 30th October 2025 - Stand 23.

The show is both a thank-you to the traders for welcoming us into their world and, for many, a first encounter with a photographic exhibition right where their daily lives unfold.
