RPS East Midlands Reports on past events
Derek Forss Day
On Sunday 24th November 2019 Derek Forss, who has been a professional landscape photographer and tour guide for over 50 years visited the East Midlands and spent the day talking to the members about he plans, shoots and then publishes his work.
The packed crowd appeared very engaged with his thorough description of how he goes about his work and enjoyed watching a few of his 200 YouTube videos, which you can see by clicking on the link below
Members recognised
At the November 2019 meeting the East Midlands Region recognised five members for their contribution to the success of the Royal Photographic Society.
Peter Roworth ARPS was recognised as the longest serving member of the region, he joined in 1976, Stewart Wall ARPS, the Regional Organiser and Distinctions Committee member for over 4 years volunteering service, Peter Yeo FRPS Committee member for over 12 years volunteering service, Kate Constance Volunteering Manager The Royal Photographic Society, Ralph Bennett ARPS Committee member for over 12 years volunteering service, Mark Flatman LRPS Committee member for over 4 years volunteering service.
