Ade Gidney ARPS : Is a retired detective living at Cleator on the edge of the Lake District.

He took up digital photography after retirement in 2012 which complements his love of hill waking. He has already been commended three times in the Landscape Photographer of the Year competition

His photography is mainly landscapes in the UK including the Lake District, Scotland, Wales, the Peak District,Yorkshire dales and others
