Statement of Intent

This Natural History panel was submitted for an Associate Distinction on the 11th June 2020

A Selection of Scottish Wildlife

This panel depicts an assortment of Scottish wildlife, from one of the largest (red deer) to one of the smallest (slime mould), many of which though common are under recognized and underappreciated.

All subjects are wild and free, planning, preparation, captures, processing (and printing) is entirely my own work. I have used an assortment of lenses including a macro lens plus a raynox macro adapter to achieve a three times magnification for the beechleaf bonnet and slime mould sporangia.
