Scotland's Monthly Competition

This competition is restricted to Scotland members only, anybody outwith Scotland will not be eligible to enter. (The RPS runs other competitions open to all members.)

RPS Scotland has decided to award a £100 Amazon Gift card at the end of the year (2025) The member who accrues the most points for their images will be declared the winner and receive the prize.

There is more. In addition we propose that as a runner up consolation prize we are planning a Raffle for those who fail to take to top price.  If you enter a minimum of six times throughout the year, your name will be entered into a raffle and irrespective of your total points scored, you stand an equal chance of winning a Day Ticket to PhotoFest ’26 which will be held in April 2026 (dates to be confirmed)

Please email your picture to scotlandweb@rps.org. You should get an acknowledgment. (if not - remind me!).  One image per person per month.  Images should be 1000px wide - there is no restriction on how tall your pictures are.  So please resize them up to 1000 px by XXXXX px. (NOT XXXX px by 1000 px). Please name your jpegs as follows - "Image Title.jpg ". Do not use camera filenames which are meaningless.Winners (and runners up) will have their images showcased in Facebook and on the website.  Voting takes place around the last week of the month.  I usually email out the voting link, or check our Facebook Group for the announcement.

Open for entries 1st to 23rd of each month  Voting takes place 24th to 29th of each month (except February)  Results published on Facebook.
