Scotland has the best Dark Sky areas in the UK and this event will make use of this unique characteristic and combine it with the opportunity to learn new photography techniques.

Join us for a relaxed and inspiring evening under the stars with professional astrophotographer Andrew Allan, where we will explore the night sky like never before. Using telescopes, binoculars and other equipment such as star trackers and filters, Andrew will guide you, with the help of a laser pointer, through the constellations, planets and other celestial sights visible on the night.

You will learn how to identify key features in the night sky and get hands on experience of using telescopes. Andrew will offer tips and advice on how best to photograph the night sky with your own camera.

Whether you are a keen stargazer, budding astrophotographer, or just interested in learning about the night sky, then Andrew will help you enjoy the beauty of the Dark Skies of Scotland.
