Katherine Maguire a Dutch Photographer originally from Scotland, moved to the Netherlands in 1997. Katherine’s photography interests have focused mainly on invisible illnesses, her ARPS in 2021, was about how Katherine’s retina disease affected her eyesight, followed by a series of self portraits about her polyneuropathy. Katherine’s latest project is examining what could happen to her sight, if her retina disease deteriorates.

Katherine Maguire ARPS a dedicated volunteer to both the RPS Benelux Chapter and the RPS International Chapter.
For more than four years, Katherine has served as Editor of the Benelux Chapter eJournal and, for many years, as the Chapter's Webmaster. She is also responsible for producing the RPS International Team's eMagazine and maintaining its website. Through these roles, she ensures members receive high-quality communications and have access to accurate, up-to-date information on events, activities, exhibitions, photographs, and Challenge results.
Her contribution extends far beyond publishing and website management. Katherine coordinates content, edits articles, maintains online resources, and provides technical expertise that is essential to the smooth operation of both groups. The production of magazines and management of websites require considerable skill, creativity, attention to detail, and many hours of voluntary effort, all of which Katherine delivers consistently and to a high standard. Much of this work is undertaken behind the scenes and often goes unnoticed, yet it is fundamental to keeping members informed, engaged, and connected.
Katherine is also known for her reliability, kindness, and willingness to help others. She actively participates in RPS activities and events, supports fellow volunteers whenever needed, and contributes her time and expertise on an almost daily basis.
